On Thursday 10th Feb I was invited to ALEXANDRA BURKE'S concert.
The stick I got when I put it on Twitter... Jeeeezzzzzzz. It wasn't nice at all.
ANYWAY... I rolled up there with my partner in crime J.Knox. At 1st, I with saying to Knoxy "Where are the cars? Don't tell me it's empty"...
Either way, we were going to support a fellow Brit, cos if it was an International artist we'd be flocking there like sheep. Once we collected our tickets and entered the Apollo... Packed doesn't even come close.
I saw Keisha B (ex sugababes: Look out for her new material coming soon) with her celeb PR Vanessa A among others.
Alexandra done the whole live band thing, and daaaammmmmn did she do it well! She performed tracks from her album, but half way through the show she went "X-FACTOR" on us and performed tracks from artists including Neyo & Beyonce.
When she performed "LISTEN" (Dream girls) she tore the ROOF OFF (Now why don't the record label get her doing songs like that? Kmmmmmt... I really dunno). There was even a little section in the show where she went back to yard (Jamaica), showing us that she's still got a little bashment moves of her own, and booiiiiiii did she dance...
Anyway, to cut a long story short, Alex aka The Beast (Beast is her alter ego) smashed it, because she got to do HER.
