Official Mixtape Awards
The Official Mixtape Awards is the first initiative to actively recognize, promote, and celebrate Mixtapes and its contributors. They endeavor to give exposure to the UK Mixtape scene amongst the public. There awards show is the primary outlet for this ambition. The first awards show was in early 2010 and clearly set itself apart from others because they displayed artists that continuously freely express a hunger, rawness, realness and uncompromising lyrics.
So it all went down Sat 12th March 2011 on the West side of London.
The WINNERS are...
SBTV won Best Online Media.
Don Dru Blu won Best New Comer.
Krepta & Konan won Best Hip Hop Mixtape.
Daniel De Bourg won Best RnB Mixtape.
Ghetts won Best Grime Mixtape.
Lady Leshurr won Best Female Mixtape Artist.
K Koke won Best Male Mixtape Artist & Mixtape Of The Year.
